Welcome to Dublin Kendo Kobukai, Dublin's longest running Kendo club.

Dublin Kendo Kobukai was established more than 10 years ago. Our members come from a diverse age and fitness background. Men, women and children all can train Kendo, from a beginner's level, through to our intermediate courses and eventually into the Kendo armour!

We have beginners' classes for both for adults and children every Saturday morning at 12:00 in The Ballybough Community, Youth & Sports, Ballybough Road, Dublin 3

Our introductory course will provide you with all the instruction you need to begin to learn the basics of Kendo: reigi (etiquette), footwork, suburi (practice cuts) and attacking practice. After completing the beginners' course students can progress into more advanced classes.

Kendo is a wonderful and challenging martial art. Join our beginners' course!

We hope that our website will provide all the information you need to start your Kendo journey.

If you need more information about Dublin Kendo Kobukai we would be delighted to answer your questions through the contact sheet or the email address provided.

Sincerely,
Dublin Kendo Kobukai
