Dublin Kendo Kobukai has currently more then 15 instructors, our instructors have been teaching kendo to all levels for over 10 years.
We also have regal visits by high level instructors (Sensei's) from abroad to future help us develop. For more information on upcoming visits, please go to our

Toru
(Kendo 4th Dan) Started with Kendo in Junior high school in Japan and trained with top Sensei in Japan before coming to Ireland.
Four time Irish individual & three times team champion and the Irish National coach.
Noel
(Kendo 4th Dan) Trained Judo for many years before he in 2000 started with Kendo and was for two years the
President of Kendo na h'Eireann as well as Irish Team Champion and current Captain of the Irish National Team.
Henric
(Kendo 3rd Dan) Lived in Japan in several years and started with Kendo in 1994 in High School in Japan,
have been training in Ireland sine 2004 and is now the President of Dublin Kendo Kobukai.
Henric is also a former Irish National and Goodwill individual and team champion and former member of Swedish national squad.
Danny
(Kendo 3rd Dan) Irish champion and holder of black belt in tae kwondo and student of Iaido. Joined Dublin Kendo
in 2004. Danny was a member of the winning team a the 2010 IIGT and the 2009 DOI. He has represented Ireland for both the Europeans and the World Championships.
Lee
(Kendo 3rd Dan) Started in Dublin Kendo Kobukai in 2003 and the Irish National's and Goodwill Individual and
Team Champion and member of Irish National Team.
Sergey
(Kendo 3rd Dan) Started with Kendo in late 2004 and has as been a member or the Irish National
Team for many years and in the World Championship's.
Martin
(Kendo 2nd Dan) Started Kendo in 2005 in Dublin Kendo has since won several international awards
and is one of our most travelled Kendoka and a member of the Irish National Team.
Jorge
(Kendo 2nd Dan)Joined Dublin Kendo in 2005 in Dublin and have since become a bronze
medalist in the Individual's in the 2009 Irish National's.
Kathryn
(Kendo 2nd Dan) Started with Kendo in Dublin Kendo in 2007 and is the current Secretary of Kendo na h'Eireann, she is also the Irish National Champion for Ladies, coming second at the 2010 IIGT and has
represented Irland at the World Kendo Championships.
Andy
(Kendo 2nd Dan) Started with Kendo in Dublin Kendo in late 2007 and hold silver medals at both Irish National championships and Irish Goodwill. Is a former member of the Irish national team representing Ireland at the World Championships.
John
(Kendo 2nd Dan) Joined Dublin Kendo's beginners course in 2008 and has since become a member of the Irish national team representing Ireland at the European Championships.
